*Check out one or more of the local Holiday Light Displays. If you're like me, you got caught up in all the hoopla getting ready for the big day, and didn't have the time to relax and enjoy some of the twinkling splendor of Christmas!

 

*Celebrate the history of hockey in St. Louis with 50 Years of Blood, Sweat and Cheers - Blues Tribute at Central Library! Let's Go Blues!

 


*Take the family Ice Skating in and around St Louis. Nothing says winter fun quite like it! Be sure to check out Winterfest at the Arch - Ice Skating! What a back-drop to skate under the beautiful Gateway Arch!

 

*After all the new toys have been unwrapped, take them to see the toys of yesteryear at the Missouri History Museum's latest exhibit, TOYS of the '50s, '60s and '70s.

 

*Only a few days remain to see Winter Jewels at The Butterfly House! And let's not forget going to The Butterfly House is like going to the tropics with it's balmy 80 degree temps year round!

 

*Enroll your child in a Holiday Break Camp! There is something for everyone on our calendar, covering a variety of ages and interests!

 

*Final days for the Kings, Queens & Castles exhibit at The Magic House, an interactive children’s chess exhibit co-created with The World Chess HOF. While there, be sure to make time for a stop in the incredible Wonder Works exhibit!

 

*Head to our Saint Louis Zoo, - you voted it your #1 thing to do for kids in STL!  Make a point to stop by for Raja’s 24th Birthday Celebration!

 


*Show some love to the rest of our 2016 Top 20 Places to Take Kids in the St. Louis Area! While a few are closed for the season, you can certainly find some great choices here - they were voted to the top for a reason!

 

*The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane - Save 20% on Remaining Shows! - What better way a day off from school than introducing your child to theater with this feel-good show from the wonderful folks at Metro Theater Company!

 

*Baby it's Cold Outside! So head indoors and let the kids burn off some energy at one of these local Indoor Play Centers!

 

*If you haven't already done so, take in the Grow Exhibit at the Saint Louis Science Center to learn about where our food comes from. While there, see the Mysteries of China or one of the other great films in the Omnimax Theatre!

 

*While in the area make a day of it with a visit to HealthWorks! Kids' Museum St Louis , our area's newest children's museum! This unique, hands on spot is sure to be a favorite with your youngsters! Or be sure to take in one of the many kid-friendly Museums around town!
