Empower: Modern Self-Defense (ages 12+) - National WWI Museum and Memorial

British suffragettes* popularized the practice of jiu-jitsu to defend themselves against physical confrontations in their fight for voting rights. Today, people continue to practice martial arts to protect themselves. Grab your friends for a hands-on, two-hour self-defense training session with The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation that develops safety awareness and practical skills for any level of fitness.
