Festive Fridays are back at the Hallmark Visitors Center this December! Drop in for free, fun demonstrations and discussions led by talented Hallmark employees on three Fridays:
Friday, Dec. 5, Drop in from 1:00 – 2:30 PM
Watch Hallmark’s Creative Studio Operations Manager, Bernard Shondell, transform simple ingredients into stunning gingerbread masterpieces. Don’t miss this festive showcase, where you’ll learn decorating tips you can try at home with your own holiday cookies.
Friday, Dec. 12, Drop in from 10:30 AM – Noon
Since 1973, Crown Center has hosted the Mayor’s Christmas Tree, with commemorative ornaments sold to support the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund. Learn about the tree’s history and Oregon origins from Tina Luckett, and get a peek at the creative process behind this year’s vintage-inspired ornament, designed by third-generation Hallmark artist Sheyda Best.
Friday, Dec. 19, Drop in from 1:00 – 2:30 PM
Get expert tips to make your holiday gifts look truly special. Join Senior Artist Azusa Omura and Creative Assistant Laura Koster as they unwrap the secrets of tying bows like a pro, creating unique gift toppers, and styling gift bags with tissue paper the “Hallmark way.”
