Frost and Forest - Winter Immersion Hike (All Ages 5+) | Ernie Miller Park and Nature Center
NEW! As you hike through the quiet, frost-laden trees, the crisp air invigorates the senses, while the soft crunch of snow underfoot provides a calming rhythm. We invite you to bundle up for the weather and join a naturalist in a calming experience known as “forest bathing”. End your hike with a warm drink of tea, shared in the traditional practice of shinrin-yoku. This hike takes place on paved and unpaved trails. Waterproof shoes are recommended for snow or mud. If there is inclement weather an alternate program will be held indoors. For more information call 913-826-2800.
