As the winter season approaches, we’re reminded of the colder weather and the need to bundle up. Many of our new students may not be familiar with just how chilly it can get here, and some may need assistance in obtaining winter resources. To help, the Office of Student Life has partnered with Parkville Living Center to sponsor The Giving Layer, a winter clothes drive for Park students and members of the Parkville community. We will be accepting donations from November 12th to December 31st.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Donation Locations:

- Parkville Living Center: 819 Main St, Suite 304b, Parkville, MO 64152

- Thompson Center (1st Floor): Thompson Commons Student Center, 8700 NW River Park Dr, Parkville, MO 64152

The donated clothing will be organized in a closet-style setup at Parkville Living Center, where individuals in need can access them until February 1st, 2025.
