The 51st annual Hospital Hill Run is the grandfather of Kansas City road races and nationally recognized by Runner’s World magazine.

The 51st annual Hospital Hill Run is the grandfather of all Kansas City road races and nationally recognized by Runner’s World magazine. What started as a single 6.8-mile race with 99 runners in 1974 has evolved into a world-class event hosting thousands of runners.
Half Marathon participants are required to be at least 14 years of age to run. There is no age requirement for the 10K or 5K.
The 5K, 10K and Half Marathon begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 1, on Grand Boulevard. All races start and end at Crown Center Square.
Expo and packet pick-up at the Entertainment Pavilion, Crown Center Square, Friday, May 31.
