Our season kicks off with the phenomenal Vine Street Rumble Jazz Orchestra, a longtime partner and fan favorite! Under the direction of Kent Rausch, this 14-piece band will perform the same outrageously exciting music that made Kansas City THE place to be in the 20’s through 40’s. Admission is free, and bottled water and popsicles are provided. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, and limited bench and picnic table seating is available. Be sure to park and enter by the Visitor Center at 11501 W 57th Street, Shawnee, KS 66203.
