Make Music Kansas City - Kansas City Young Audiences

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 06/21/2021
Join the worldwide celebration of music on June 21! KCYA is proud to participate in Make Music Kansas City, a live, free musical celebration on the longest day of the year with concerts across the city! Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. In 2021, Make Music will be happening city-wide for the first time in Kansas City!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.
