Mission Citywide Clean-Up

As part of the regional SevenDays®: Make A Ripple event and in celebration of Earth Day, join us for the City of Mission’s first city-wide Spring Clean-Up Event on April 23, 2022, 9-11AM. Register as a group, business, family, or individual and join your neighbors in service to clean-up and beautify Mission. With a complimentary breakfast and free t-shirt, we’ll have you fueled up and looking good as you help us keep our city clean!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
We’ll be joining forces for trash pick up, vegetation trimming and more to care for our major corridors and public spaces in need of some extra attention after a long winter.
Here’s the plan:
- Pre-register on the online form (see above at “Tickets” link) and select your shirt size.
- Share the link with friends and neighbors (calling all Mission residents, school groups, community organizations, scout troops, neighborhood associations, businesses and more).
- Meet at Beverly Park 5935 Beverly Ave, on April 23 at 9AM for a complimentary kick-off breakfast–get fueled and pumped to clean up our City!
- Check in to find your assigned area, get your free t-shirt, grab provided supplies, and hit the streets.
- Spend an hour (or more, or less) to complete clean up in your assigned target zone. Trash and debris will be picked up at event completion by city staff.
- Share the link with friends and neighbors (calling all Mission residents, school groups, community organizations, scout troops, neighborhood associations, businesses and more).

Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately, wear sunscreen and bring your own water. All other supplies provided.

If you are volunteering with a group, please indicate that on the form. Individuals welcome! City staff will assign clean-up sections depending on the number in your group.
