The Museum at Prairiefire is committed to innovative learning in science, the arts and natural history. Through a founding collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, as well as with other cultural and educational institutions in the nation, the Museum at Prairiefire is a place that provides ACCESS FOR ALL to understand and celebrate natural history and science in our region and around the world. The Museum engages visitors and students of all ages with world-class exhibitions, important programming, and significant educational and STEAM opportunities. The MAP offers programs dedicated to Homeschooling Families on weekdays and Saturday programming for school children. These programs include Little Explorers Club, JAM Sessions, Memberships, and Field Trips.
The Museum at Prairiefire is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to meaningful learning and engagement with science, culture, art and natural history.
As well as hosting a variety of dynamic, authentic Natural History, and Science and Art exhibitions, the Museum at Prairiefire offerings include regular events, interactive activities and programs for adults and children.
See stunning artifacts from national and regional collections, let the kids explore in the the Discovery Room, or get out of this world with a Virtual Reality Experience. Join us for Science Happy Hour, Cinema & Science or bring out the kids for The Little Explorers Club. There’s something for everyone, and any age!
