Are you curious about pet therapy? Have you wondered what is required in order to become a therapy animal team? Do you think your pet might make a good therapy animal? (Did you know therapy animals aren't just limited to dogs?!)

On Tuesday, August 5th, Julie Goodman will share what a Therapy Animal is and how to become a Therapy Animal Team. Julie has been a volunteer with Pet Partners for over 15 years. She is currently a Licensed Instructor and Licensed Team Evaluator. She and her Standard Poodle, Jordon, a Registered Therapy Animal, made over 500 visits to hospitals, nursing homes, schools and libraries. Julie is currently serving with her partner Mo, a Cream Standard Poodle.

Since 1977, Pet Partners has registered and supported thousands of volunteer therapy animal teams who have made millions of meaningful visits around the world that help improve the physical, social, and emotional lives of both the people and animals involved.

Speaker Series events are intended for humans only. Registration for this free event is appreciated: thedogsspot.com/speakers-series
